Winter in
St Anton am Arlberg

The cradle of alpine skiing: St. Anton is considered the cradle of alpine skiing. In 2001 the World Ski Championships were held and since 2016, Ski Arlberg is now the biggest connected ski resort in Austria and among the top five in the world.

Skiing in perfection. In St. Anton am Arlberg, Austria.

305 km of descents with perfectly groomed slopes for all levels await you with challenging steep slopes, carving areas and permanent race tracks, e.g. on Rendl. With the new “Run of fame” you can have a glance at this big variety within one day to have a preview what is still awaiting you for the upcoming days.

If you enjoy the challenge of freestyle, then you will find the Q-Parks designed Stanton Funpark to be a great place to spend an afternoon. With line ranging from beginner to pro, the Funpark is found at the top of the Rendlbahn in St. Anton or at the Schleglkopf in Lech.

The true paradise at the Arlberg is off the pistes.

Already after a short hike, you can find yourself at the start of a deep snow descent. The Arlberg offers over 200km of powder run – more than anywhere else in the Alps. Therefore, St. Anton is a true  mecca for freeriders.

For safe off-piste riding, experience and skills are the top priorities. To enjoy the powder with the highest safety, we recommend the ski guides & instructors of Stanton Classic. They do not only show you hidden runs and how to ride them safely (featuring the matching safety gear), they will also help you to improve your skiing technique. The ski school St. Anton classic is located in the hotel. We will gladly book a private Skiguide for you.

Cross-Country Skiing at Arlberg

St. Anton am Arlberg is also well known for CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING (classic and skating). The whole cross country trails cover about 40 km and are qualified with the Tirol seal of quality for cross-country ski runs. Your landlords will gladly assist you with suggestions to the different types of the runs, which are all close to St. Anton.

Non – Skiers will enjoy the Arlberg as their holiday destination as well.

Other sports such as Tobogganing, Snowshoe hikes as well as horse sledge rides are awaiting you. Furthermore, an ice rink is also on the premises for ice skating or curling
